Ready to kick off 2021 with new Samsung smartphones?

The electronics giant is planning to host its Unpacked event on Jan. 14, where it's widely expected to introduce its next flagship Galaxy smartphone.

An invite sent to media features an image of a inside a cube with the title "Welcome to the Everyday Epic."

The event is roughly a month earlier than its typical February showing. Samsung usually hosts an Unpacked event at the start of the year for its flagship Galaxy smartphones, while hosting an additional Unpacked later in the year for its larger Note devices.

Last year, Samsung introduced tech lovers to the Galaxy S20. Multiple published reports suggest the company will unveil its successor, the S21, next week.

The event will take near the end of CES, the biggest technology event of the year. Last July, organizers of CES announced it was shifting from an in-person event in Las Vegas to an all-digital show because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
